Last week Lizzy Lourenco presented her MRes project work at the British Association of Dermatologists meeting in Edinburgh.
Lizzy’s project compared the application habits of people using SPF containing moisturiser and SPF containing sunscreen. The result: people achieve poorer overall coverage and miss a higher proportion of their face when using moisturiser.
The message, that SPF moisturisers are good but not good enough to rely on for extended times in the sun is important and we have been trying to get the message out there. Thanks to the Uni of Liverpool and Brit Assoc Derm press teams, some national and international newspapers ran the story last week. Below are links to some of the articles:
