They grow up so fast – BSMB 2019

This week the British Society of Matrix Biology (BSMB) and Matrix Biology Ireland (MBI) held their spring meeting in Liverpool. There was a solid showing from my team with four posters and a talk covering various aspects of our ongoing work into LaNts and laminins

Lee presenting some of his new breast cancer work

The meeting was excellent. Some really inspirational talks from big people in our field and lots of interactions. We’ve come away with a load of new ideas of exciting experiments to do next and new contacts with people that will help to push this work forward.

I thoroughly enjoyed this meeting. Really nice ambience throughout, very collegiate group of delegates. If you haven’t been to a BSMB, I thoroughly recommend it, you should consider the autumn meeting in UEA.

I grabbed a few pics of various speakers as they started…

  1. Delighted to hear that the BSMB and MBI meeting was so inspirational and to see from the photos that great interest was generated by the LaNts and Laminins team poster presentations. Well Done everyone!
